Touching and full of surprises yesterday evening at the San Francisco Italian Athletic Club with the premiere of “Harvest 2020”, the documentary directed by Maurizio Gigola that talks about how winemakers, through the thick and thin, dug deep into their people and their territory and made wine during the 2020 pandemic. An evening entirely dedicated to Friuli Venezia Giulia with the wines of Friuli that Patrick Corazza served to all participants.

Kristyan's restaurant, Terun, is one of only fifteen in California that is a member of the American Delegation of the Associazione Vera Pizza Napoletana, a non-profit that recognizes the handful of restaurants outside of Italy that meet strict standards and respect the meticulous process of traditional Neapolitan pizza making. But Kristyan is a chef in both Terun and Italico and the menu of both places is full of typical Italian dishes that become even more special with Krityan's personal touch. Try them too!

I'm at a park in the Berkeley Marina for a family photo session. I photographer and walking. I take pictures. I ask for smiles. It is a beautiful sunny day. Everything looks normal and fun.
Attached to a tree we find pots: what a strange installation! It turns out to be great fun for taking pictures of children who suddenly light up!
Behind a bush a strange shadow. It’s a sculture. We walk again. What a curious place. Now it becomes a game to find out what this park is hiding!
We find a great gold frame and it becomes the excuse for more beautiful photos!

Today I used a soft, beautiful bokeh in this images of cocktails. [Bokeh is the out-of-focus area on an image with shallow depth of field.]
The effect is like a backdrop for my focal point. It allows the viewer to focus on the most important part of my photo, the drink, and makes the subject pop!
