On May 28, 2024, Carmen Consoli brought Terra ca nun senti to San Francisco as part of her North American tour—a deeply personal tribute to the music, stories, and traditions of Sicily.
The project weaves together traditional Sicilian songs and pieces written by Consoli herself, creating a musical journey through the landscapes, voices, memories, and people of her homeland.
At the historic Club Fugazi, the evening was intimate and intense. Carmen’s unmistakable voice, together with the musicians on stage, transformed the theater into a small corner of Sicily in the heart of San Francisco.
It was an honor to photograph this special evening and tell its story through images, capturing the power of the music, the intensity of the performance, and those quieter moments that often go unseen.
